  • Your new job | About your main responsibilities
  • As a Manager - Technology Strategy & Transformation - Cloud, AI, Digital, you’ll be part of the Technology Strategy and Transformation team, possibly with a focus on Cloud, AI & Digital.

The Technology Strategy & Transformation team supports financial institutions — primarily in banking — through the full transformation lifecycle: from strategy to execution. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and COOs to define solutions, align decision-making, and ensure plans come off the paper and into action.

Our work spans AI strategy and enablement, modernization of critical legacy estates, hybrid and multi-cloud strategy, and enterprise architecture — integrating technology, data, and operating model design, regulatory fluency, and the diplomacy needed to navigate complexity. Just imagine what it takes to roll out Agentic AI across a bank with operations in 20 countries, high local autonomy, and hundreds of IT delivery teams — while ensuring compliance and control from day one.

We believe modern technology should eliminate repetition across delivery organizations. Our Zero Repetition Enterprise approach leverages concepts like Datafication, Everything-as-Code, and Auto-Compliance to strengthen control and free up talent for what matters most.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategy & Vision

  • Advise financial institutions on technology strategy, architecture, and transformation (e.g. AI, Legacy-to-Cloud, Digital)
  • Develop business cases and executable roadmaps for enterprise-wide change
  • Design solutions aligned with business goals, regulatory context, and operating model

Enablement & Execution

  • Prepare C-level decision-making materials backed by sound analysis and crisp storytelling
  • Lead technical streams in vendor selection and transformation programs
  • Guide cross-functional teams and enable strategic decision-making across IT, Risk, Data and executive leadership

Growth & Thought Leadership

  • Take ownership of one of our Go-to-Market chapters (e.g. AI, Cloud, Risk Tech), contributing to thought leadership and proposition development
  • Balance conceptual problem-solving with hands-on delivery leadership

Your new team | About your colleagues and the office
You’ll work alongside technology strategists, experienced management consultants, and seasoned industry executives within the Technology Strategy & Transformation core team — collaborating directly on high-impact client projects, with close mentoring. This is a high-demand role, combining conceptual problem-solving with rolling up your sleeves to deliver concrete outcomes. Steep learning curve guaranteed.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

  • Master’s degree in a STEM field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering), or equivalent experience
  • 4–6 years in industry, strategy roles, or system integration, ideally in financial services
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), modern integration and deployment patterns (e.g. event-driven architectures, data mesh, platform engineering), and data architecture
  • Ability to apply risk governance principles and navigate ICT regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, EU AI Act, Data Act, EUCS, and EBA Guidelines)
  • Relevant certifications or skills in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, prompt engineering (Python, cloud automation), or delivery methods (Agile, Lean, programme management) are a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch and business-level English, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
