As part of our ongoing effort to strengthen our Sales organisation across different divisions, Grundfos Italy is looking for a passionate Sales Engineer to join the Water Utility (WU) team in Northern Italy - preferably based in Milano or Southern Milan Province, e.g., Pavia, Lodi, Piacenza, or nearby areas.

This role is key to expanding our presence in the Water Utility and Irrigation sectors, driving growth and building strong customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute tactical sales plans aligned with business strategy
  • Identify new opportunities and conduct feasibility studies for Grundfos solutions
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, consultants, and contractors
  • Analyze business data using SAP BW for forecasting and planning
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decisions
  • Deliver product and application training to customers and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure customer master data is up to date

Success Metrics

  • Revenue and order intake
  • Profitability
  • Quality of CRM data
  • Customer satisfaction (ECSS results)

Qualifications

  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in a technical or business environment
  • Industry experience in Water Utility/Irrigation markets
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of relevant systems, laws, and regulations
