Duration: January 5th, 2026 - April 24th, 2026. 

Compensation: Based on experience and number of completed work terms:

Work Term 1 (first work term): $20.85

Work Term 2: $21.84/hr

Work Term 3: $23.09/hr

Work Term 4: $24.33/hr

Marketing Communications Intern

We're looking for a Marketing Communications Intern who's part writer, part storyteller, part digital detective—and 100% curious. You’ll help us dream up and deliver content that connects, informs, and delights. Think blogs, web copy, email campaigns, event promos, and all the creative bits in between.

You’ll learn how to speak “tech” in a way that anyone can understand, and you’ll be part of a collaborative, idea-filled team that supports some of the coolest projects in the data world.

About The Team

Our Marketing Communications team is always working on something exciting—from launching new product features and sharing customer stories to hosting global events like the Peak of Data and AI. We create and promote engaging, high-quality content that reflects our brand values and supports our users. You’ll join a welcoming and collaborative group that works across marketing, sales, and product teams to create a consistent and meaningful brand experience.

What You’Ll Be Doing

As a Content Marketing Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Create clear and engaging content that aligns with Safe’s brand and meets user and business needs.
  • Work with subject matter experts to translate technical information into accessible, audience-friendly content.
  • Review and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Hubspot to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Assist with digital campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
  • Contribute to editorial calendars and campaign planning across various marketing functions.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm new content ideas and improve existing assets.
  • Assist with logistics and support for webinars, events, and trade shows—including booth materials, shipping coordination, and lead tracking.
  • Help organize and maintain marketing assets and shared content resources.

Qualifications, Skills, And Competencies

  • Currently studying or has experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • A strong communicator with solid writing and editing skills.
  • Interested in digital marketing, content strategy, and user-focused storytelling.
  • Curious and eager to learn about B2B marketing.
  • Organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage tasks and timelines.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Open to feedback and excited to grow their skills.
  • Previous co-op or related experience is an asset.
  • Curious and creative, bringing bold, out-of-the-box ideas that go beyond the expected.
