What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Senior Director, Product Marketing to shape and scale Circana’s product marketing function worldwide. This is a player-coach role that combines hands-on contribution with team leadership. You will be responsible for defining the narrative of product value, driving consistent global positioning, and enabling sales and client engagement across Circana’s full portfolio. This leader will serve as the connective tissue across Product, Commercial, and Brand Activation teams ensuring every solution is positioned for maximum impact in the market.
In this role, you will lead and mentor a global team while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver positioning and messaging frameworks. You will drive adoption of Circana’s positioning house (positioning statements, personas, unique value propositions, and proof points), ensuring alignment across industries, audiences, and geographies. You’ll scale product marketing outputs, oversee content and enablement resources, and ensure global consistency across product marketing assets.
As a leader, you will be expected to develop talent, build organizational capability, and manage performance within your team. You will foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across a global, remote organization while navigating complexity, driving decision-making, and maintaining alignment with Circana’s growth objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global product marketing team.
- Drive structured performance management, setting objectives, providing feedback, and holding team members accountable.
- Use Circana’s development framework to identify career growth opportunities and build organizational capability across the marketing function.
- Build cohesion and culture across remote global teams.
Scale, Efficiency & Strategy
- Anticipate industry shifts and translate them into scalable product marketing strategies.
- Establish repeatable frameworks for efficiency and growth across a multi-portfolio environment.
- Define the future operating model of product marketing to serve as a growth engine for Circana.
- Support enterprise-level strategy by aligning multi-portfolio narratives and building systems that scale globally.
Positioning & Narrative Development
- Own Circana’s master brand positioning and ensure product-level positioning houses (statements, UVPs, proof points) are consistently applied.
- Drive adoption and change management of positioning, enterprise buyer personas, and voice of customer processes.
- Ensure positioning reflects new launches, product enhancements, and client feedback.
Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market
- Oversee team creation and standardization of global sales enablement resources.
- Oversee team foundational content creation (decks, sheets, FAQs, training modules) that scales across industries, regions, and buyer types.
- Ensure team members effectively partner and communicate with Product, Competitive Intelligence, Training, Commercial, Brand & Activation Marketing to ensure readiness for launches and sales execution.
- Shape the future of product marketing at Circana by creating strategies, tools, and narratives that build a deep connection with the sales cycle ensuring product marketing drives revenue impact, win rates, and growth.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Act as the “air traffic controller” for Global Product Marketing across Product, Competitive Intelligence, Training, Commercial, Brand & Activation Marketing, and Legal.
- Foster alignment through quarterly business reviews, stakeholder priority grids, Insider Solutions communication, and cross-team collaboration.
- Collaborate with Legal on positioning language, trademarks, and usage.
Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence
- Partner with Competitive Intelligence team to develop and maintain global proof points, competitor assessments, and market intelligence.
- Ensure team processes and alignment with Competitive Intelligence team.
- Integrate customer and market insights into positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Experience & Background
- 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience in SaaS or data/analytics companies with global scope.
- Preferred experience in CPG, General Merchandise, or Retail industries.
- Demonstrated success scaling organizations (specifically with market expansion and M&A integration).
- Track record of launching enterprise solutions, building positioning frameworks, and enabling sales at scale.

- Deep expertise in positioning frameworks, messaging development, and enablement tools.
- Strong storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience collaborating across Product, Training, Commercial, Marketing, and Legal functions.
- Competence in market research, competitive analysis, and integrating insights into strategies.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $175,000.00.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
