Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently oversee client projects of moderate complexity, providing guidance and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Support and coordinate technical and service aspects of client projects, working with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Design and handle the preliminary design of studies, leading them end-to-end.
  • Foster effective cross-functional collaboration within internal departments and maintain direct communication with external customers.
  • Involve appropriate internal and external customers, maintaining continuous communication to ensure high-quality work.
  • Participate in Project Meetings at a Fisher Clinical or customer site and lead kick-off meetings as required.
  • Lead and facilitate customer teleconferences, visits, and audits, providing timely customer reports and updates.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance/Regulatory personnel to close Problem Reports.
  • Prepare quotations reflecting customer requirements and manage related budgets as required.
  • Provide accurate and timely project-related financial updates and reporting.
  • Ensure project data is accurate and work with Accounting to verify information before invoice release.
  • Participate in cross-functional business process improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with the account manager to ensure overall customer happiness.
  • Apply GXP in all areas of responsibility.
  • May support, coach, or guide colleagues in project-related tasks.

Project Management

  • Manage several medium size projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client requirements.
  • Identify project needs, set objectives, and monitor progress, addressing issues as they arise
  • Support resolution of project challenges and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Define, track, and handle budgets and revisions for scope changes and commitments.
  • Understand key customer contract terms and be skilled in negotiation.

Client Relationship Management

  • Understand client needs and gather relevant information to support project delivery.
  • Be familiar with Thermo Fisher's solutions and communicate relevant information clearly to clients.

Project Management Leadership

  • Seek mentorship and guidance to support personal development and strengthen project management skills.
  • Ensure clear and focused communication, confirming understanding of project needs.
  • Collaborate with teams to quickly resolve project challenges and align timelines across functions.
  • Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure alignment among team members.

Technical Knowledge

  • Effectively manage projects across assigned platforms, taking responsibility for timely and quality delivery.
  • Support improvements in work processes to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • At least 7 years and up to 10 years of experience in project management or client service, with pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project excursion.
  • Good knowledge of Quality in GxP environments, Audits, and Project management.
  • Proficient in English and Korean.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and data management.
