Overseeing all the administrative and academic activities of all BSBI’s international partnerships

Organize, develop and administer BSBI’s connections with academic institutions and the wider industry and business sectors

Be responsible for all international academic relations of the School and their logistics regarding partnerships and future collaborations

Overseeing that the logistics of international partnerships proctoring are done appropriately and according to quality regulations of BSBI’s University partners

Working with the Deans in amending or designing and developing a new curriculum for Professional Certificates and short programmes

Working with the Deans in updating a Syllabus or Syllabi if required for Professional Certificates and short programmes

Providing consultation and mentoring to staff and lecturers to enhance their academic and professional skills regarding partnerships

Providing consultation to lecturers using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence regarding partnerships

Scheduling mentoring appointments with staff and lecturers

Proposing new members of faculty for teaching positions and potentially conducting interviews

Assisting in organizing the academic environment to promote productivity and learning

Organizing training and development sessions to improve collaboration practices and assist lecturers to learn the specifics of new partnerships

Communicating effectively with faculty members and staff to convey passion for educational collaborations

Giving the guidelines to the Deans so to prepare the relevant academic documentation for international partnerships

Creatively design partnership strategies that maximizes BSBI’s international presence

Developing content, both written and recorded, as directed by the Provost and Chief Academic Officer of the School

Researching or recommending textbooks, software, equipment, or other learning materials to complement BSBI’s franchised or validated programmes

Identifying, developing, or implementing intervention strategies for handling issues in relation to international partnerships

Performing day-to-day tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork related to his/her duties and activities

Playing a proactive role in promoting the School

Contribute actively to the research activities of the School

Participating in School‘s activities (including extra-curricular) as required by the Provost and Chief Academic Officer of the School

Working very close and under the guidance and supervision of the Provost and Chief Academic Officer of the School

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
 
  • Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the domains of international relations, education, social sciences or management
  • Prior experience in a similar academic position in a university for at least 3 years
  • Prior experience in working in the international education sector in an academic executive position for at least 3 years
  • Very good knowledge of Windows OS, of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
  • Due to the international character of the School, knowledge of at least two foreign languages
  • Sound knowledge of Educational Platforms (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of academic quality processes, study regulations and rules of the British, American, French, Spanish and Greek higher education systems
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education at university level for at least 5 years (desirable)
  • PhD in the domain of international relations, education, business or management (desirable)
