FPGA Engineer

Job Description

The selected FPGA engineer will be part of a growing and motivated engineering team in charge of designing, implementing, verifying and validating FPGAs systems for space applications.

Position Tasks And Responsibilities

• Analysis of the FPGA requirements to elaborate the design architecture.
• Definition, implementation, verification and validation of designs in RTL (VHDL).
• Elaborate test plans according to the Technical Specification or High-level requirements.
• Write test cases in VHDL, Python or C/C++  and execute them during the Test Campaign.
• Write documentation across the development cycle (Architecture, Test Plan, Test Report, Manual, etc.).
• Degree in engineering: Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in FPGA designs.
• Good understanding of the FPGA architecture. Resources, clock networks, metastability, etc.

Candidate Qualifications And Skills

• Knowledge Of Vhdl.

• Knowledge Of Linux.

• Experience with Xilinx Vivado.
• Experience with VHDL simulators (Vivado Simulator, QuestaSim or similar).
