Lead the maintenance department in both Safety and Food Safety by:
- Setting expectations and holding accountability to all safety policies, food safety policies, and best practices daily.
- Oversee the completion of all safety work orders within a timely manner.
- Complete all required food safety certifications and work orders in a timely manner.
- Be an active team member of all safety, food safety and food quality initiatives.
Maintain exceptional performance in uptime of all major operating equipment by:
- Working closely with production by utilizing the maintenance management system and real-time measurement (OEE), establish procedures, schedules, and resource deployment to ensure equipment will be maintained at a high level to achieve production requirements
- Ensuring that an overall preventative/predictive maintenance system is developed and implemented through a working relationship with production, planning, and staff to meet requirements of the system and to ensure that maintenance task are completed in accordance with approved schedules and budgets.
- Maintaining documented records.
- Conducting meetings with maintenance staff to review previous shifts and current plans.
- Be an active member in the daily production meetings.
- Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to ensure ongoing assessment and skills development process is achieved for all maintenance staff.
Executing continuous improvement plans that optimizes operational efficiencies and supports the manufacturing strategy by:
- Investigating and solving production problems that involve inadequacies of equipment, maintenance, and operating techniques.
- Identifying and providing required technical assistance for the training of operating areas for current technologies and when new equipment and processes are implemented.
- Participating in continuous improvement teams pertaining to expansions, new product lines, and diversification.
Effective management and utilization of parts and equipment by:
- Managing an automated system of inventory tracking of parts and equipment for the maintenance department by conducting cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
- Integrating parts and maintenance records within a centralized maintenance management system.
Notes:
- This opportunity is Monday – Friday, 4:00P - 12:00A (night shift)
- This role will offer a base salary between $110,000 - $120,000/year with benefits
