Job Description

Css Team Manager

As a Team Manager, you will be assisting a team who provide loan processing, compliance and 'back of house' support to our rapidly growing national team of Brokers, this fast-paced and varied role will see you accountable for (but not limited to):

Responsibilities:

  • Pre and Post Submission Loan Application and Client Expectations Management
  • Managing of Client Solutions Staff who are liaising with Brokers and Lenders to ensure that loans applications are submitted timely
  • Coach and mentor to drive performance
  • Work closely with key stakeholders—including franchisees, brokers, and lenders—to enhance the overall quality and completeness of submitted loan files.
  • Drive initiatives that support faster processing such as achieving ‘one-touch’ unconditional approvals, reducing Manual Information Requests (MIRs), and ensuring alignment with defined Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, minimize rework, and improve client experience through operational excellence and high-quality submissions

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous management experience
  • Must have lending/broker/finance support experience, preferably in credit assessment with exposure to entire application processes from submission to settlement
  • A strong understanding and previous exposure to the Australian mortgage market
  • Business/Commerce/Finance degree or diploma preferred but not essential
  • Self-motivated with a desire to exceed expectations
  • Ability to multitask and improve efficiencies
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, delegate and prioritise as appropriate, based on the situation
  • A high degree of competency in computer and web applications
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; including a strong and fluent command of English
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
