The IT Architect  serves as the crucial bridge between business operations and IT at Galderma, designing scalable digital solutions that enable manufacturing excellence through digitalization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design standardized, reusable OT Blueprints that improve manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate and harmonize business demands from a governance and technical perspective
  • Guide stakeholders through demand management while ensuring solutions meet requirements
  • Facilitate agile proof-of-concepts to test potential solutions
  • Develop scalable solution architectures that align with business objectives
  • Support implementation teams during solution rollout
  • Manage stakeholder communications at all levels of the organization
  • Ensure all manufacturing apps (e.g., MES (PAS-X would be a plus), ERP, SCADA, WMS) comply with EA principles, best practices, and regulatory standards 
  • Oversee design, implementation, and integration of manufacturing systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices for networking, security, and deployment.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs like MTTR, system uptime, time to resolution, production downtime, and time to recover to optimize manufacturing system performance.
  • Ensure manufacturing systems’ resilience and scalability through high availability architecture, disaster recovery strategies, and downtime reduction processes, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to align on solution design, integration, and deployment

Qualification:

  • Master's degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
  • ITIL a plus
  • 15+ years of overall experience in IT, with 10+ years as an Enterprise Architect in the manufacturing domain.
  • Experience with manufacturing apps such as ERP, MES, SCADA, WMS, and PLM, with integration in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of KPIs for manufacturing apps, such as MTTR, system uptime, time to deploy updates, production downtime, and system latency.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing digitalization technologies (IIoT, data analytics, AI)
  • Knowledge of IT/OT integration, standards, and security requirements
  • Architectural thinking ability to design standardized solution patterns
  • Strong demand management capabilities to analyze and prioritize business requirements
  • Technical innovation skills to develop viable solutions within organizational standards
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
  • Fluent in English
