What You’Ll Do

We’re looking for an innovative and visually driven AI Art Director. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director of Lifestyle, the Art Director will support the creative development across seasonal and evergreen campaigns for multiple Lifestyle brands. You’ll contribute to concept-to-completion art direction, ensuring consistency, innovation, and brand excellence across platforms including digital, print, social, and experiential. This role blends strategic thinking, design leadership, and a deep passion for photography, fashion, and storytelling—with an emphasis on AI-enhanced workflows. You’ll combine design excellence with the latest generative AI tools to scale creative exploration, improve efficiency, and elevate our storytelling across the Lifestyle platform.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Marketing, Brand, Digital, Social) and external partners (photographers, stylists, production teams), serving as the creative liaison and ensuring seamless execution of projects. You’ll support the Associate Creative Director on set for major campaign shoots and independently lead the direction of still life and social content shoots. You’ll also guide and mentor a small team of creatives, supporting their development and strengthening Authentic’s visual impact.

Art Direction & Creative Leadership

  • Support creative development from brief to final production
  • Translate brand vision into high-impact campaign concepts across channels
  • Support the Associate Creative Director on set for large-scale shoots
  • Independently lead still life and social media content shoots
  • Manage and direct photo retouching and post-production
  • Drive consistency in brand aesthetics, messaging, and storytelling
  • Lead development of brand books, logos, brand guidelines, scalable systems, 
and templates
  • Pitch decks and sales collateral to support business growth
  • Guide junior creatives and foster a collaborative team culture

Asset Management & Execution

  • Oversee asset delivery, creative calendars, and brand toolkits
  • Coordinate with external vendors for retouching, printing, and production
  • Review and approve partner creative assets
  • Maintain tight timelines, ensuring all outputs meet brand and partner expectations

Ai

  • Integrate AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly) to prototype concepts
  • Use generative AI to improve efficiency, scalability, and visual experimentation
  • Stay informed on emerging tech and digital trends to elevate creative work

Must Haves

  • 7+ years of creative experience in JR art direction, graphic design, branding and creative leadership, within fashion a plus.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with proven experience across campaign, digital, and social
  • Exceptional eye for typography, layout, and image-making
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite; Figma and Hands-on experience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly, Stable Diffusion).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional collaboration
  • Confident directing talent and production teams (photographers, stylists, models, etc.)
  • Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the fashion and lifestyle space; retail and/or e-commerce experience a plus
  • A proactive, curious mindset toward emerging tech and design trends.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience.

Primary Location Salary Range:

$125,000 - $155,000
