Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Interacts with the warehouse Team Members and Supervisors/Managers to answer bay
storage-related questions, respond to complaints and requests, or discuss storage control
plans, policies, and procedures.
• Analyzes data related to product storage, flow, location, available product and incoming
product to determine the most efficient methods to expedite storage and flow of product.
• Plans, designs, and improves components of traffic control systems to accommodate
current and projected traffic and to increase usability and efficiency of space in warehouse.
• Lays out bay locations for storage of product.
• Performs and coordinates bay audits to ensure product in bay matches product on audit
sheet.
• Processes, maintains and distributes bay reports and model reports to appropriate Team
Members.
• Processes rail receivers and rail cuts.
• Researches and evaluates cross dock opportunities, coordinate cross dock opportunities
with dispatchers.
• Manages and maintains accessories data base.
• Operates a battery-powered cart/scooter in order to conduct inventory and bay audits.
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

  • SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • • Experience: One to two years related experience
  • • Computer Skills: Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, word
  • processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Strong working knowledge of MS Office to include
  • Excel and Word. Ability to master internal computer systems.
  • • Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver’s License; Forklift Certification preferred
