Job Description

This customer-focused role sits with the OFX Client Due Diligence team as a specialist function assisting OFX global client-handling teams by performing initial KYC assessments and screening for new-to-OFX clients, ensuring smooth transition between online registration and full verification, and by performing ongoing due diligence for existing clients.

This is a hybrid role based in our London office – enjoy the flexibility of working both in-office and from home.

What You'Ll Do:

  • Conduct ongoing due diligence for Private and Corporate clients, focusing on post-activation monitoring activities.
  • Perform sanctions screening, high-risk jurisdiction reviews, and periodic refreshes to ensure continued compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Execute retroactive Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) where required, ensuring OFX maintains a robust understanding of client risk profiles and payment behaviours.
  • Investigate and respond to fraud alerts and suspicious activity, escalating cases in line with internal procedures and contributing to client protection efforts.
  • Review and approve alerts generated by client screening, payment screening, and fraud monitoring systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate financial crime risks across the client base, both corporate and consumer.
  • Communicate with clients primarily via email, with occasional phone contact, to support monitoring activities and resolve queries related to due diligence or fraud investigations.
  • Support the development and delivery of OFX’s strategic, business, and operational plans through active collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Aid the day-to-day processing of client documentation and queries.
  • Undertake other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the evolving needs of the Financial Crime and Compliance functions.
