About The Role

As Head of Media & Public Relations, you will lead the development and execution of strategic media and PR initiatives that elevate Crown’s brand, support our corporate agenda, and drive positive public engagement. You’ll be the key media and PR lead for all Crown Sydney business units, working closely with internal stakeholders and external media to amplify opportunities and manage reputation. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver proactive and reactive media and PR strategies aligned with Crown’s brand and business goals. 
• Lead initiatives that promote Crown’s entertainment offerings, CSR programs, and community engagement. 
• Manage media relations, including crisis communication and brand advocacy programs. 
• Collaborate with property counterparts nationally to ensure consistent messaging and media coverage. 
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on reputation management and communications. 
• Represent Crown at media, corporate, government, and community events. 
• Support internal communications and contribute to corporate events and initiatives. 

What You’Ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in Public Relations or a related field. 
• Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations. 
• Proven expertise in media engagement, stakeholder management, and crisis communication. 
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills. 
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment with national media exposure
