We are seeking an experienced Digital Analytics Manager to lead our digital data and insights capability. This role will drive the measurement, analysis, and optimisation of digital experiences across Rest digital platforms, enabling us to deliver personalised, data-driven member journeys.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Google Analytics 360, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery, with hands-on experience in experimentation platforms such as Optimizely. They will also bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical skills to bridge business needs with data solutions.
This is an initial 12-month contract role, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the digital analytics strategy and roadmap, aligning to business goals and customer experience initiatives.
- Own the implementation, configuration, and governance of Analytics platforms.
- Ownership of integrations between all Google and non-Google platforms. e.g. BigQuery exports to Enterprise Data Platforms
- Develop robust data pipelines and integrations across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and internal systems.
- Partner with digital product, Member Experience, Data and Technology teams to deliver actionable insights that optimise member journeys and improve retention.
- Manage and evolve experimentation and personalisation programs using tools such as Optimizely.
- Build dashboards, reporting, and data visualisations that enable self-serve analytics and data storytelling.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and governance across platforms.
- Mentor and guide other team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, precision, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in digital analytics or related fields.
- Deep expertise with Google Analytics 360, including advanced tagging, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery for data management and advanced analysis.
- Experience running and analysing digital experiments with a testing tool such as Optimizely.
- Experience in paid advertising and buying media platforms
- SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence decision-making across business and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Snowflake and other cloud data warehouse solutions.
- Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with personalisation frameworks, marketing automation, or customer data platforms (CDPs).
