Graphic Designer

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB: The primary responsibilities of this position are to create or duplicate cutting files designs for an inlay process operated at The MatWorks’ facility. Also will be expected to work on designs based on customer submitted artwork or to revise of current designs based on customer feedback and as a result, artistic creativity is not required. Experience with Eastman PDS software, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is required. In addition, this position is also responsible for uploading artwork requests into our art system while providing excellent customer service by answering art related questions via telephone and email. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Duties Include:

• Creating cutting files using PDS Eastman Software
• Creating new designs as needed
• Duplicating artwork
• Responding to customer e-mails
• Providing product information
• Supporting other team members when needed

Qualifications:

• Intermediate to expert level skills using such programs as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• DXF and CAD software familiarity
• 1 - 3 years of experience is preferred

PAY RANGE: $16-$17/hr, depending upon experience
