Job Description

The opportunity
You’ll partner with operational leaders (from Regional Managers to General Managers) in the WM North portfolio to turn strategy into meaningful, people-focused outcomes. Drawing on deep HR expertise, you will:

• Provide timely, practical guidance across performance, talent, workforce planning, and complex ER matters.
• Lead and support organisational change (restructures, redesign), with clear communication and thoughtful risk management.
• Translate people data and trends into actionable insights that inform decisions and drive improvement.
• Champion inclusion & diversity, wellbeing and support health and safety, to embed our Porohita (circular economy) commitments across a diverse, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

What You’Ll Bring

• Extensive HR experience partnering in complex, multi-site operations.
• Proven ability to lead change and partner strategically in the business.
• Confident ER capability - investigations, mediation, and fair, low-risk resolution.
• Commercial acumen - comfortable with KPIs, org design, and connecting work to the purpose.   
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A collaborative style and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
