Program Director II - Community Connections

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Program Director II – Community Connections to lead the implementation and oversight of this impactful program. The Director will ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, culturally competent services that promote family stability and child well-being. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, program evaluation, and fiscal management.

Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 Annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with FFPSA and DCF goals.
  • Oversee delivery of mental health, substance use, and in-home parenting services to at-risk families.
  • Ensure program fidelity, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with DCF, community partners, and service providers to enhance coordination and impact.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and responsiveness to family needs.
  • Lead community engagement efforts and advocate for the program’s mission.
  • Collect, analyze, and report program data to inform continuous improvement.
  • Manage program budget and seek additional funding opportunities.
  • Supervise staff and support professional development and performance excellence.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred
  • 5–10 years of related experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or family services
  • Standard driver’s license – class C or class D; Ability to drive as needed

Skills And Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of FFPSA, trauma-informed care, and community-based service delivery
