Program Director II - Community Connections

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Program Director II – Community Connections to lead the implementation and oversight of this impactful program. The Director will ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, culturally competent services that promote family stability and child well-being. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, program evaluation, and fiscal management.
Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 Annually

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with FFPSA and DCF goals.
- Oversee delivery of mental health, substance use, and in-home parenting services to at-risk families.
- Ensure program fidelity, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with DCF, community partners, and service providers to enhance coordination and impact.
- Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and responsiveness to family needs.
- Lead community engagement efforts and advocate for the program’s mission.
- Collect, analyze, and report program data to inform continuous improvement.
- Manage program budget and seek additional funding opportunities.
- Supervise staff and support professional development and performance excellence.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred
- 5–10 years of related experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or family services
- Standard driver’s license – class C or class D; Ability to drive as needed
Skills And Knowledge:
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills
- Knowledge of FFPSA, trauma-informed care, and community-based service delivery
