Job Description

Wage $16.00 per hour.  

Position Summary

Join our culinary adventure as one of our valued cooks! You'll be the Robin to our Batman Chef, whipping up delicious dishes and keeping our kitchen running smoother than a well-oiled panini press. Get ready to dive into a world of flavors, fun, and fantastic food!

• Be the ultimate wingman to our Cook, helping create culinary masterpieces that'll make taste buds dance!
• Transform into a dining room superhero, swooping in to assist our wait staff when they need a hand.
• Become the Snack Master, preparing and distributing treats that'll keep our residents smiling between meals.
• Channel your inner Tetris champion to help receive and store deliveries with style.
• Join our clean-up crew and make our kitchen sparkle brighter than a freshly polished spoon!
• Play "Salad Bar Jenga" by maintaining proper rotation of items and keeping our refrigerators organized.
• Embrace your inner labeling artist, ensuring everything is tagged and dated with flair.
• Follow recipes like a culinary detective, cracking the code of deliciousness with every dish.
• Be ready for surprise kitchen quests - you never know what exciting tasks await!

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• At least three months experience in quantity food preparation in a health care facility or hospitability industry preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Stands, bends and moves continuously during working hours.
• May be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• May interact with residents, family members, and visitors.
