  • About the role
  • The Cloud Engineer position is responsible for the overall governance and administration of all Netskope Public Cloud environments including AWS, GCP, Azure etc. 
  • What you will be doing
  • Duties will include planning, developing, deploying, and integrating with cloud based services primarily supporting internal customers. 
  • Required skills and experience
  • 4+ years of strong knowledge of Linux operating system concepts.
  • Proficiency with:
  • Cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS)
    • Public Cloud: AWS, Azure and some GCP
  • A general understanding of Configuration management.
  • Experience with IAC tools such as Terraform/Cloud Formation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Great team player who has a strong desire to change the way people use their data and have a huge impact on a small team.
  • Ability to clearly communicate – a key quality to being a superior administrator.
  • Can approach complex problem solving and troubleshooting tasks with creativity and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • Flexible and possess the ability to context switch on demand.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
  • Scripting using one of the following is a plus: Python, Bash etc.
  • Familiarity with Web based API’s.
  • Third Party Identity providers.
  • Strong background in security.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in networking is a plus.
  • Experience with software development is a plus.
  • Significant experience with one or more major cloud providers is a must.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of Identity and Access Management

Education

  • Bachelors or equivalent required, Masters or equivalent strongly preferred.
