ALIS may invite certain candidates to participate in a brief 10-minute phone screen to gather additional information. Candidates selected to move forward will then be scheduled for a video interview with the hiring manager. In some cases, candidates may also be invited to attend an in-person meeting. Please note that ALIS will cover all expenses related to interview travel. Candidates residing in border states within a four-hour drive will be reimbursed for mileage.

Working Location: Candidates with 3+ years of experience eligible for in-office, hybrid or fully remote schedules ( local candidates will be given preference). A relocation subsidy is available. At least 3 visits (per year) to the Chicago headquarters are required. Please note candidates must be able, willing and excited to travel.

Salary Range: $80k-$110k

The exact salary will vary based on years of experience and the level of proficiency in both hard and soft skills. It is uncommon for someone to be hired at the highest point of the salary range for their position. For this position the highest amount in this range will require 3+ years of specific experience. Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The right individual for this position is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who’s excited to help shape the future of our app store. In this role, you’ll work with both our internal teams and outside partners to support app integrations and keep things running smoothly. You’ll also create clear, easy-to-follow documentation to help train others on processes and tools. To be successful, you’ll need to be extremely comfortable with technical aspects of integrations as well as committed to delivering excellent customer service to your internal customers and external clients and partners. You will enjoy troubleshooting issues and providing updates on progress. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes taking ownership, working across teams, and building something new that makes a real impact.

  • JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 
  • Partner & Client Communication: Be the main point of contact for new inquiries and integration requests. Communicate with charm, clarity, and professionalism—mostly through email and calls.


Scoping & Documentation: Develop business cases, create technical and business scopes, and document processes for internal and external use.


Integration Management: Work with product and engineering teams to build out integrations using APIs, HL7s, VPN, SFTP, CSV, and XLS.


Project Coordination: Collaborate with project management to ensure deadlines are met, tickets are tracked, and partners are updated.


Problem-Solving: Triage urgent issues, prioritize requests, and troubleshoot solutions.


Training & Enablement: Create documentation and training for internal teams (support, product, sales engineering).


Marketplace Growth: Collaborate with potential partners, scope new integrations, and support the long-term strategy of the ALIS App Store.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of integration-related work
  • Strong Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with APIs, data formats, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Communication: Exceptional written communication skills and strong professional presence with clients. You are energized by client interaction. 
  • Customer Service Mindset: Naturally helpful, proactive, and positive.
  • Extreme Extrovert: Outgoing personality, thrives in collaborative environments, gets energy from working with others.

BONUS
Previous Industry Knowledge/Experience in assisted living or healthcare software is a strong plus but not required. This role could evolve into a leadership position for the right candidate.
