Job Description

As the Senior HR Generalist, this role is responsible for delivering excellence in service and contributing to the mission of protecting businesses, people, and time. The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the HR department, including the administration of policies, procedures, and programs. This role involves collaboration across all levels of the organization to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

  • Understanding of employment law and diversity/EEOC compliance and promotion.
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written
  • The ability to build strong relationships and establish strong interpersonal connections at all levels of the organization
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • To be an enthusiastic, performance-driven individual who will pursue excellence in translating the employer brand passion, vision/mission of the organization into operational, quantitative Human Resources plans, goals, and schedules for improvement
  • Demonstrates integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing sensitive employee information
  • Experience in managing and handling leaves of absence 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands with minimal supervision
  • Strong PC skills with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems
  • Effectively communicate with other team members and hiring managers about facility specifics, hiring plans, and goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • 5 to 7+ Years HR Generalist Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Must adapt easily to changing priorities, function well in a fast-paced environment, and handle a high degree of confidential information.
  • Analysis, critical thinking and investigation skills
  • Experience with emphasis on employee relations, coaching and training activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing sensitive employee information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Strong PC skills with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems, UKG preferred
  • Commitment to adhering to and promoting safe workplace practice
  • Salary 97,000 - $105,000
