Job Summary
We’re seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a world-class engineering team working at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and embedded systems. This critical role will design, secure, and automate the infrastructure powering LLM-backed digital health companions and radar-enabled monitoring devices. The position is full-time, based in the U.S., with the expectation of being in-office 4 days per week. The ideal candidate is an AWS expert with deep experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, IaC practices, and production reliability, paired with excellent communication skills and a strong ownership mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure for scalable, secure, and highly available services.
- Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments across environments.
- Monitor and tune production systems for uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency using observability tools.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to support radar sensing, LLM workloads, and real-time communication.
- Design and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code practices with Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS), including deployments, scaling, upgrades, and debugging.
- Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows.
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance through IAM best practices, audits, and secrets management.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across distributed systems and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering.
Qualifications And Job Requirements
- Strong verbal communication and ability to work in Agile environments.
- Expert-level AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with observability/monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
- Skilled in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Deep knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and security best practices.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
