Job Summary
- To closely cooperate with Relationship Manager to provide banking services and handle KYC for customers.
- To conduct credit analysis for customers to obtain approval and to ensure smooth document circulation process.
- To engage various financial transactions and support daily operations.
- To assist and cooperate colleagues.
- To learn new banking jobs and teach jobs for new joiners.
Job Description
- To achieve department and team’s budget (including but not limited to profit and products amount).
- To establish good relationship with customers and colleagues.
- To complete tasks (including but not limited to credit application, monitoring, instruction response, KYC, financial transactions by customers’ request and management instructions) on timely manner.
- To support daily operations through implementing and initiating projects.
- Ensure full compliance to relevant rules and risk appetites in SMBCMY, SMBC Head Office and Regulatory Requirements (including but not limited to FEN, SCEL, Large Loans, Connected Parties, CCRIS Front end reporting, KYC/AML procedure, etc.) as a first line of defence function.
- Ensure timely and comprehensive reporting on irregular events (including but not limited to customer complaint, information leakage, operational incident, credit deterioration), root cause analysis and implementation of remedial.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Business Management or equivalent. Those who possess relevant AICB qualification is an added advantage.
- Preferable with 2-6 years of banking experiences in dealing with Commercial / Corporate Customers. Fresh graduate is acceptable as well.
- Knowledge in banking products including trade and derivatives is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skill with strong command of English language both written and spoken. Japanese and Korean language is an added advantage.
- Outgoing, result-oriented, self-motivated and resourceful.
- Able to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Able to work independently and a strong team player.
