Senior Accountant

We have partnered with a well-known real estate company in the Woodstock area seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial and compliance audits
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings
• Lead system improvements and automation of accounting processes
• Mentor, train, and evaluate performance of accounting team members
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and initiatives
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Serve as the point of contact for accounting-related inquiries and issue resolution
• Support ERP system implementation, upgrades, and integrations related to finance modules
