Overview:
If you're looking for the stability of a profitable, growing company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, we’re hiring. SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Product Development Process Manager to support and drive execution across our Personal Lines Product Development function.
This role is central to ensuring operational excellence and alignment across new product initiatives. You’ll serve as the point of coordination for multiple workstreams, manage timelines and documentation, and help move new product ideas from concept to execution. You will partner closely with Program Operations, Program Design, Claims, and Strategy, ensuring seamless handoffs and driving accountability across teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex initiatives.
What You’D Be Doing:
- Organize and facilitate the bi-weekly New Product Forum: prepare agendas, track down outstanding items, lead discussions, and distribute meeting minutes and action items.
- Follow up and track actions from the New Product Forum to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain the New Product Schedule and ensure all related documentation is housed in a centralized one-stop-shop.
- Coordinate the creation and submission of POSRs (Product Operational Support Requests) for new products.
- Partner with Program Operations to coordinate timelines, handoffs, and planning for new product launches.
- Draft, facilitate, and finalize baseline scope documents for new products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Manage communications for Synergy Six Step 2, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
- Deliver carrier overviews for new products to ensure external stakeholders have clarity on product offerings and positioning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Program Design on all new product initiatives.
- Represent new product initiatives in cross-functional sessions such as ‘The Launch Pad’ with Program Operations and Claims.
- Support Product Pipeline meetings by helping prepare documentation, coordinating with Program Ops, and assisting in planning and logistics.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 5–8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in insurance, product management, or operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of Personal Lines insurance; SageSure experience a plus.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate projects involving multiple stakeholders and functions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; confident leading cross-functional meetings and summarizing outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Comfort working in dynamic, evolving environments with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and a high sense of urgency.
- Experience working with tools like SmartSheet, Domo, Confluence, and JIRA is a plus.
