What We're Looking For
Cross River’s AML/CFT & OFAC Compliance team’s role is to ensure that our business is always consistent with current regulations and remains within Cross River’s risk appetite. As part of the AML/CFT & OFAC Compliance team, you will play a key role in helping the business grow in a responsible way. As a CDD Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you play a key role. You will perform a variety of duties related to the execution of QA reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the AML/CFT program and that processes are in line with relevant policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned QA testing across various Line of Business processes related to Cross River’s CDD program such as partner onboarding, account opening, ongoing monitoring, and periodic reviews
- Present findings/exceptions to management and/or team in a concise and well-written manner that fully explains why the process was deficient in a risk-based manner
- Use independent and professional judgement to ensure testing areas adhere to all policies and procedures
- Make sound judgement when assessing analysis and supporting documentation such that an independent third party would understand the rationale and evidence being used to support the conclusion
- Escalate significant issues of concern identified through QA reviews
- Assist in the development and enhancement of CDD QA processes
- Assist other members of the team as and when required
- Other general project support such as assisting in the QA team’s response to regulatory and internal audit inquiries and examinations, answer ad hoc requests from process owners, and requests from senior management
- Promote a strong compliance culture within the company
- Complete all assigned training and where relevant complete ongoing education such as webinars or conferences to stay abreast of regulatory changes and the regulatory environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in a quality control/quality assurance type role
- 3+ years experience in a KYC/CDD related role with working understanding of AML Laws, Regulations and their application to the processes being tested
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Proactive and results oriented, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Integrity, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional collaboration skills and a desire to work as part of a high-performance team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized & strong attention to detail

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00
