The Opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Sales to build the next generation sales organization at Databook. You’ll build and lead a team of Account Executives towards ambitious sales targets through creativity, innovation and collaboration. If you are excited about working at the cutting edge of GTM AI, a chance to inspire a team of high performing sales professionals and impact how CROs and Sales Operations leaders at the largest and fastest growing companies drive value for their customers, then this is the role for you. 

Specifically You Will:

  • Drive pipeline, revenue and close rates across industries and in conjunction with partners, inside sales, sales engineering and marketing.
  • Recruit and develop a winning sales team, coaching them toward a goal of increasing win and close rates for net new customers in each sales segment.
  • Provide support and guidance to the team by participating in and leading client and prospect meetings, or engaging other GTM teams as required
  • Develop accurate forecasts for leadership and board reporting
  • Engage with C-level executives in enterprise B2B organizations and develop strong relationships to support long-term success
  • Develop investment strategies across top accounts for large expansion motions that drive measurable impact with our customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams on GTM initiatives such as product marketing, customer success and channel partnerships

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in sales of complex business software / IT solutions
  • Demonstrated success with complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market
  • Experience leading high performing teams to exceed ambitious sales targets
  • Knowledge of consultative selling methodologies and excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven experience selling to large strategic accounts, managing complex deals and executive engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision across lines of business with excellent presentation and executive management skills
  • Considerable financial acumen to understand and coach staff on the importance of financial ratios as they relate to opportunities within accounts
