Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The Ad-Ops Associate is a key member of the Media Buying team, primarily responsible for managing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns. This role involves handling the day-to-day operations of launching and maintaining PPC campaigns, including ad scheduling, tracking, and optimization. The Associate will execute campaigns, track digital media KPIs across various channels, and drive optimization strategies to meet performance goals. As a multi-channel digital media expert, the Ad-Ops Associate will strategically allocate media budgets for maximum return on investment through performance marketing. This position requires a data-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, demanding quick thinking, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail. It offers significant ownership and deep exposure to digital marketing strategy and media planning.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Task Management: Utilize Trello to update task status.
  • Team Coordination: Weekly coordination and training with direct reports.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze KPI performance of campaigns, conduct optimization, and provide regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Budget Monitoring: Monitor the pacing of allocated spend by brand and channel.
  • Campaign Monitoring: Monitor account and campaign performance daily.
  • Optimization Execution: Execute weekly optimization cycles for AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, and other channels, including A/B testing and bid optimization.
  • Keyword Research: Research keywords and expand campaigns in line with performance marketing frameworks.
  • Platform Research: Investigate and report on new features and updates on existing and new platforms.
  • Best Practices: Research performance marketing best practices.
  • Certifications: Ensure all certifications from platform partners (e.g., Google) are up to date.
  • Collaboration & Recommendations: Coordinate with Account Managers on campaign performance and offer recommendations for continual improvement.

PROFESSIONAL, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to complete VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • PPC Platform Experience: Experience working with Google AdWords and AdWords Editor (Bing Ads and Yahoo Gemini is a plus).
  • Search Metrics Understanding: Basic understanding of search metrics such as CPC, CTR, CPA, and conversion rates.
  • Passion & Drive: Passion for digital media and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Organization & Detail: Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Abilities: Media math and equation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.

  • Programmatic Advertising: Ability to use Google DV360 to buy and run programmatic advertising.
  • Mobile Attribution: Ability to use Apps Flyer.
