JOB PURPOSEThe Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to optimize operational efficiency, enhance tenant performance, and maximize the overall profitability of retail shopping malls. This role involves analyzing key business metrics, market trends, customer behaviors, and foot traffic patterns to provide actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES▪ Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret business data (foot traffic, tenant performance, sales, rent rolls, leasing patterns). Develop and deliver regular reports on KPIs, occupancy rates, and operational performance to identify trends and risks.
▪ Strategic Support: Provide insights and recommendations to optimize tenant mix, enhance customer experience, and improve revenue, working closely with leasing and marketing teams.
▪ Retail KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key KPIs like sales per square meter,, tenant sales, and OCR’s. Report on lead and lag indicators to drive performance improvements.
▪ Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor retail market trends and technological innovations, advising senior management on relevant industry changes and strategies.
▪ Innovation & Digital Transformation: Implement solutions to enhance customer engagement, sustainability, and shopper analytics, collaborating with the Digital Technology team on IT and digital projects.
▪ Cost Control & Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-control strategies by analyzing operational data and suggesting improvements in efficiency, resource allocation, and tenant relations.
▪ Cross-Department Collaboration: Support teams in leasing, operations, marketing, and finance with data insights, ensuring alignment with business goals.
▪ Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and present data-driven insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations for growth and operational improvement
RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 8+ years of experience
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE: Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or retail analytics, preferably in the retail real estate or shopping mall sector.
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with retail KPIs, market trends, and customer behavior analytics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives and understanding of IT integration in retail environments
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of retail leasing, foot traffic analysis, and customer engagement strategies.
QUALIFICATIONBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field
