About the Unit:The Cross border Unit focuses on handling the challenges presented by international shipping from Regional Partnerships Office, China Sales Office, and Export Services. The Unit handles the intricate paperwork, customs regulations, and potential delays that arise when moving goods across borders. This unit also ensures smooth transit by working closely with customs agencies, managing international documentation, and keeping on top of ever-changing import/export rules.

Duties And Responsibilities:

•  He/she will supervise the overall Intra-Asean air freight operations activities.
• The individual will oversee the daily functionalities of the air freight and customs clearance operations teams for Intra Asean
• Work closely with the IA AF Assistant Manager to ensure the team processes the necessary resources and capabilities to execute day-to-day air freight and custom clearance operations and ability to handle exceptional cases.
• Drive and develop operational excellence by setting /improving processes and/or procedures within the operations environment to enhance service level as well as managing cost optimisation. 
• Ensure all operating procedures within intra-Asean AF are documented and users within the IA AF team are aligned on the requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Sales Channel & Commercial, Finance and Opex) to achieve operations sustainability.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with vendors to facilitate the smooth execution of daily operations and maintain visibility on any operations deviations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field
• 1-2 working experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics Industry
• Individual require a good understanding of the various business functions, capabilities and limitations
• Individual require technical understanding of airfreight and custom clearance commercially and operationally
• Good communication skills
