Role Purpose:
Experienced member of the Global Creative Journey & Branding team responsible for delivering outstanding branding experiences across a portfolio of internal and external global events. Lead the planning and execution of creative and operational elements, with a focus on designing exceptional on-site attendee journeys. Oversee the production of all onsite event builds, signage, and branding for both in-person and virtual environments. This role is critical to ensure Gartner’s conferences and events consistently reflect our brand values and deliver exceptional experiences for all stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the creative journey for Gartner’s external and internal (corporate) events, focusing on impactful attendee experiences (delegates, sponsors, associates) across the global portfolio, including event builds, branding elements, and digital platforms.
- Manage operational processes and project management throughout the planning and execution of both in-person and virtual internal and external events.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of signage, builds, branding, furniture, and finishing/accessory requirements for selected events, collaborating with the wider conferences team.
- Assist in creating and implementing operational processes and project management playbooks to maximize the impact of the team across all regions and portfolios.
- Approach all aspects of the role with creativity, innovation, and proactivity—constantly seeking to exceed previous standards and enhance process effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Gartner Business Units to strategically advise and support their event objectives throughout the planning process, culminating in the conference experience.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with vendor partners, inspiring them to achieve Gartner’s standards of creativity, innovation, and passion for conferences.
- Ensure effective financial management, including budget creation, cost negotiation, accurate forecasting, risk identification, and recommendations for fund allocation; manage a production planning calendar.
- Integrate digital platforms into the build, brand, and journey experience for all conference attendees

- 4+ years of event management, branding, and/or experiential & event marketing experience
- Demonstrated creative and operational management experience within a team setting
- Proven event operations and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload
- Experience managing multiple agency and vendor partners
- Experience in designing event spaces/environments/floor plans
- Exceptional project management skills, including effective time management and prioritization
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’S Degree Preferred
- Creative, innovative, and strategic mindset
- Strong financial management skills
- Attendee-focused, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach
- High sense of urgency, decisiveness, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and equivalent G-Suite tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time (regionally and internationally)
