Job Overview:
The Data Analytics Analyst 2 plays a vital role in supporting AbbVie Patient Services - Data Analytics team. The Analyst will conduct detailed analyses, answer business questions, and provide actionable insights related to the operational success across the whole savings program portfolio for AbbVie. In addition, the analyst will work with internal and external stakeholders across all program teams to define Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) and unique business or reporting requirements focused on the identification of trends and opportunities for improvement of the programs. The analyst will also provide executive summaries and perform client brand specific analyses as required. Analysts begin under the guidance of more senior team members but are quickly provided with opportunities to contribute to all aspects of client engagements. Team members will begin to assume an active ownership in running projects and mentoring more junior colleagues.
Responsibilities Include:
- Contributing to internal brainstorming sessions and collaborating with account management team members throughout client engagements
- Evaluating secondary data on markets, physicians, patients, and pharmacies
- Developing and working with reporting tools to derive insights
- Coordinating both directly with clients as well as through the PAAS account team to manage the analytics needs of the clients for both scheduled and ad hoc requests
- Creating reports, presentations, and other client deliverables
- Presenting to client audiences via teleconference, videoconference, or in face-to-face meetings
- Building professional relationships with internal and external members of the client team
- Proactively developing knowledge of the healthcare industry and client engagement methodologies
Minimum Requirements
- A strong analytical record, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong quantitative skills
- Exceptional communication skills and be a proven team contributor
- An interest in and desire to learn about the constantly evolving healthcare industry
- Good project management, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
- Exceptional IT literacy in PowerPoint and Excel; PowerBI and/or SQL are a plus
- A willingness or ability to travel as needed (<10% on average)

The potential base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Data Analytics Analyst II
