About The Team:
As an intern, you will be part of the Scientific Team within the Flow Cytometry Department based in Geneva, where innovation, precision, and collaboration drive our daily work. You’ll be immersed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values scientific rigor and continuous learning.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our global teams, connecting with experts across multiple time zones and cultures. This international exposure fosters a rich exchange of ideas and offers a unique perspective on how flow cytometry is applied in diverse research and clinical settings.
Internship Assignment Summary:
During your internship you will contribute to the optimization and performance monitoring of a newly implemented flow cytometry platform. Your work will involve conducting a series of simple laboratory experiments to generate data that will guide platform improvements. In parallel, you will collect and analyze performance data from various sites and databases to develop a tool that monitors instrument functionality over time. This project offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on lab work with data-driven analysis in a collaborative and innovative scientific environment.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- You must be a student and be eligible for an internship agreement with a third party.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology
- Prior experience in Flow Cytometry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (ability to create macros is a plus)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), French is a plus
- Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external colleagues
