The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager – Space Intelligence & Weapon Systems Manufacturing to join our team in New Orleans, LA; El Segundo, CA; Huntsville, AL; or Kennedy Space Center, FL.
This role will serve as the senior business partner and consultant with the Manufacturing Space & Intelligence and Missiles & Weapons leadership on all matters related to talent and people. To be successful in this role you will have passion for developing and delivering results through an engaged and highly committed team.
This role will provide influence with Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems leadership teams and key initiatives across the Manufacturing organization, partnering with business leaders to not only meet the needs of the business, but to ensure the HR function leads with excellence. This role will report to the HR Director of Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide visible, on the floor HR presence where our hourly employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
- Provide consultation and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices and processes
- Partner with business leaders, ethics and/or corporate investigations to resolve workplace concerns, support the development and delivery of corrective actions, performance improvement and development plans
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Manufacturing executives and their leadership teams to deliver integrated HR initiatives and solutions
- Partner across broader HR team and with HR centers of excellence (COE) partners to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support to the business
- Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)
- Utilize conflict resolution techniques and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
- Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
- Support HR priorities, organizational structure, and long-range business plans including affordability/productivity, skill and talent discussions, development programs, and resource deployment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
- 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
- 3+ years of experience leading teams either formally and/or informally in a Human Resources role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience staffing defense programs – attracting, engaging and retaining critical talent
- Human Resources certification
- 1+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
- Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Summary pay range: $132,600 - $208,750
