Position Summary
SEPS is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager who will lead the successful execution of large-scale, multi-year technical initiatives with global impact. In this role you’ll drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration across go-to-market, marketing, finance, legal, and more—ensuring alignment with technical partners on scope, timelines, and budgets. Your leadership, clarity, and strategic vision will enable teams to overcome challenges, mitigate risks, and deliver high-quality results that move the business forward.
Job Responsibilities
- Program Leadership Lead highly complex, strategic programs with global scope and significant business impact. Define strategy, structure, and execution plans for programs that often begin with ambiguous requirements. Ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management Build trusted partnerships with executives and cross-functional leaders. Clearly communicate program status, risks, and dependencies, while driving alignment and informed decision-making. Represent difficult trade-offs with clarity and sound judgment at the executive level.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Align and integrate efforts across Product (engineering, design, product management, PMO) and Business (go-to-market, finance, legal, customer success, etc.) functions. Translate complex requirements into shared priorities, milestones, and outcomes.
- Risk & Dependency Management Identify program risks, organizational dependencies, and structural challenges early. Develop mitigation strategies, proactively address issues, and ensure business continuity with minimal disruption.
- Cultural Leadership Model calm, clarity, and process in ambiguous or high-pressure situations. Actively mentor and guide peers and junior program managers to expand organizational knowledge and leadership capacity.
- Resource & Organizational Management
- Optimize the use of people, processes, and budgets to deliver program objectives. Improve cross-domain operating models, streamline structures, and simplify processes to accelerate outcomes.
- Technical Leadership
- Apply deep technical expertise to guide teams, resolve challenges, and foster innovation. Provide mentorship to elevate technical and program management capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement
- Champion standards, tools, and best practices that enhance efficiency and program delivery. Educate and mentor program teams and the PMO to increase organizational impact and maturity.
- Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
Qualifications For Position
Your qualifications and experience should include:
- 15+ years of experience leading complex, high-impact technical programs in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to influence, align, and inspire diverse cross-functional teams at all levels, including executives.
- Outstanding communicator across all levels of management, with exceptional written and verbal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong decision-making skills under pressure.
- Experience managing programs with heavy interdependencies across disparate engineering (JIRA) and business (non-JIRA) systems.
- Track record of driving clarity and resolution in ambiguous or high-stakes situations.
- Strong judgment in issue escalation, with the ability to resolve challenges independently when possible.
- Experienced mentor, committed to growing team members and advancing PMO practices.
- Deep knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in the video game industry.
- Understanding of Japanese workstyle, culture, and language.

Annual Incentive Bonus
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $235,000 to $255,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
