With Securities-Based Lending, our private banking clients take out a loan with their securities portfolio as collateral. For our clients, these are the cheapest and most flexible loans, although they can be tricky as they leverage the portfolio which means that any up- or down turn is amplified. While ING has a high commercial ambition for Securities-Based Lending, in the Dutch market they face strong competition and show rapid technological developments.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an Operations professional II, to join our Securities-Based Lending product team. The team is responsible for the maintenance and development of Securities-Based Lending products and assisting the front-office with providing excellent customer service. Within the team it is your responsibility to ensure smooth daily operations towards the Securities-Based Lending Book.

Key Specific Responsibilities Such As:

• Ensure an excellent on-boarding experience
• Distribution of In-Life Management dashboards to the front office and ensuring appropriate actions are taken
• Manage the contract extension process for the front office
• Manage the off-boarding process with the clients
• Ensure high quality input from operations perspective for any PARP process or product reviews
• Cooperate with the business control specialist to ensure that operational activities are performed in a safe and compliant way and manage operational risk where possible
• As the Securities-Based Lending team is a new team, you can implement your own way of working with the responsibilities and high quality within time constraints

Requirements

• 3 -6 Years of experience in a banking environment.
• HBO level
• experience in cooperation and building the positive relationships with external / internal business partners. You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals.
• experience in planning & coordinating your activities based on the workflow
• You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
• Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
