Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance of existing, and implementation of new, engineered labor standards utilizing MOST methodology preferably within our labor model application.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to determine impact to the organization resulting from revisions to engineered labor standards, changes in best practices or implementation of innovative programs.
  • Extract data from enterprise systems and conduct analyses utilizing data analytic tools to create ad-hoc and/or recurring reports that provide information regarding labor utilization, planning and compliance to various levels within the organization.
  • Develop systematic processes to monitor metric driver and labor requirement forecast for accuracy and implement procedures to adjust the forecasts within labor planning/labor scheduling systems to support stores in creating accurate and efficient schedules.
  • Supports Sr Manager of Workforce Planning in ongoing labor planning cycles
  • Evaluate current processes/practices in stores to identify areas of improvement.
  • Support Store Operations team on miscellaneous projects
  • Represents the operating vision and the needs of Five Below internal and external customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Labor Management or Store Operations
  • Knowledge of Workforce Management software applications
  • Familiarity with software tools used for time study data collection and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of work measurement principles, time study techniques, and process analysis
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data to develop accurate labor standards.
  • Knowledge of Task Management, Scheduling, Labor Forecasting, and Time and attendance technology and Operational processes. 
  • Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate with co-workers
  • Ability to work with and facilitate cross functional teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
