Our Opportunity

We are looking for a new Business Development - Argentina, Paraguay & Uruguay to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

The BDM will act as a strategic enabler within the Sales organization, connecting product expertise with commercial execution across Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. They will operate across all verticals and market segments, regardless of IS or DTS channels, reporting to the Head of IS.

  • Strategic Account Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across verticals such as Automotive, Reefer, Tech, Retail, FMCG, and Lifestyle. The BDM will lead targeted pursuits in collaboration with sales reps, ensuring alignment with the Area Business Plan and ECSA strategic priorities;
  • Product Enablement & Sales Coaching: Act as a subject matter expert and hands-on coach for the sales force, embedding product knowledge and consultative selling techniques. This includes helping to develop tailored value propositions with the customer solutions team; as well as feeding Product with in-depth information for more complex cross-border and depot solutions development;
  • Multi-Country Coordination: It is no easy task to navigate the operational and regulatory intricacies of multi-country logistics between Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and key trade partners such as Brazil and Chile. The BDM will be instrumental in harmonizing commercial efforts across borders.
  • Pipeline Acceleration & Tender Support: Drive pipeline velocity by supporting sales teams in qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and engaging in strategic
  • tenders. The BDM will also work closely with product, operations and customer solutions teams to ensure feasibility and competitiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Depot Strategy Execution: Lead the development and commercialization of depot services, including dedicated solutions and upcoming
  • infrastructure expansions. The BDM will help define service offerings, pricing models, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Product, Growth Enablers, PMO, and Sales Excellence teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives,
  • training roadmaps, and performance metrics.

  • Project Management Skills;

  • Solid experience in business development;
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes;
  • Strategic vision and ability to work across different functions;
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management;
  • Analytical skills with focus on numbers, finance, and metrics;
  • Intermediate or higher Portuguese (preferred);
  • Must be based in Argentina, Uruguay or Paraguay.
