The office is located at Amsterdam’s Zuidas, and CBA NV currently employs approx. 60 FTE.

Within IB&M, CBA NV focuses on wholesale clients within the EU and EEA. Maintaining a presence in Europe is critical to the CBA Group, enabling global capability and connectivity that supports investment and bilateral trade between Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. CBA NV leverages IB&M’s deep understanding of the Australian corporate landscape to support this mission.

Our COO reports to the CBA NV CFO. In the COO team we are seeking a skilled IT Senior Manager to oversee the IT operations of our subsidiary. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and secure operation of our IT infrastructure, align IT strategies with business goals, and manage a team of IT professionals. We expect the IT Senior Manager to be a hands-on and to be able to replace team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily IT operations and ensure the reliability and security of IT systems;
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in line with corporate guidelines;
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations;
• Cooperate with relevant IT stakeholders within Group, specifically on change management processes and lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and manage IT budgets and optimize costs;
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws;
• Support COO on regulatory requirements and interaction with Dutch central bank (DNB).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the banking or financial sector;
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud computing;
• Experience with cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations;
• Project management skills and experience with IT project lifecycles;
• Strong leadership and team management abilities;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
