Role Description

As a Cyber security associate, you will play SME role to give operations support to business applications in scanning, automation and remediation guidance.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Playing SME role to assist business application teams to do scanning and provide basic guidance remediation
• Follow process and guide steps to business teams to conduct SAST, DAST on licensed tools
• Attend meetings with internal stakeholders and provide support
• Programming background or Python knowledge would be added advantage.
• Good communications skills required

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 6-8 yrs of experience.
• Well versed with OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities identification and remediation.
• SAST (Static analysis security testing) assessment experience must be present.
• DAST (Dynamic analysis security testing) assessment experience must be present.
• Tool exposure – Fortify Workbench, Veracode, Snyk, Sonarqube, Burp suite, Invicti,..etc.
• Vulnerability Assessment of reported issues.
• Provide remediation consultation to business application teams.
• Basic guidance to application developers towards remediation of open findings.
• Python scripting would be an added advantage.
• Senior member who can co-ordinate with development leads, management team
• Tool scan configuration assistance and support to application teams
• Good communication and writing skills to work with global team members
• Experience in banking domain would be an added advantage
• Experience in SOC Operations (in application security) would be an added advantage.
