CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy scalable, reusable and maintainable applications that handle substantial amounts of data. Take ownership of work from development and testing to deployment and support in production. Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, designers, and leadership on matters of technical architecture, design, and code. Implement processes for evolution and improvement. Explore new technologies, tools, and best practices. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with data pipelines, solving complex business problems, understanding business requirements and creating data engineering solutions. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with performance tuning, optimizing database performance for ETL workloads using Microsoft business intelligence tools and SQL Server; 5 years of experience with creating dashboards, reports and data visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Power BI; 4 years of experience with cloud-based relational and non-relational databases using AWS or Azure, distributed data processing technologies including Apache Spark or Databricks; 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps utilizing source control tools for release deployment; 2 years of experience with job automation for repetitive tasks, AWS or Azure Services, SQL, Python, and PowerShell; and 2 years of experience with coordinating deployment and identifying and fixing data discrepancies.
