We are currently seeking a Lab Analyst 3 to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Lab Analyst 3 at ICON, you will play a critical role in conducting complex laboratory analyses and supporting the delivery of high-quality data for clinical research studies. You will be responsible for performing advanced testing procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Location: Lenexa, Ks (Onsite):
Desired Experience (ligand binding experience required)
- Ligand binding assays
- Neutralizing antibody or Flow Cytometry experience is beneficial.
- ELISA, ECLIA
- PK, PD, and immunogenicity
- Usage of relevant software (e.g. SoftMax Pro, Watson)
Method Development
- Executes experiments for method development under direction of Senior Scientist.
- Develops new scientific approaches to method development and communicates these to the science team.
- Reviews and approves data of other scientists.
- Communicate with team members and management regarding project status, purpose, scheduling, problems, etc.
- Support communication with clients regarding project status by processing and summarizing data.
Scientific
- Maintain knowledge and skill in all techniques required to perform your work.
- Provide scientific input to team about newly acquired technology investments.
- Discusses scientific results with scientists and project manager.
- Perform R&D projects.
Quality and Timely Work Execution
- Takes initiative in process development and Work Instruction writing.
- Legible, logical and reproducible documentation of all experimentation.
- Has a thorough understanding and complies with GLP and other appropriate regulations.
- Develops rugged and economical assays.
- On-site, lab-based work required.
Sample Analysis and Assay Validation
- Provides key assay input to the validation and bioanalysis team(s) to ensure successful execution.
- Provide support to Laboratory Operations staff regarding assay quality, expected results, troubleshooting and data review.
- May perform and document maintenance, trouble-shooting and repairs on advanced instrumentation with support of service engineers or other trained supervisory personnel.
Qualifications
- Read, write and speak fluent English.
- BS in Science + 3-5 years of experience in a relevant laboratory field.
- MS with applicable research in a relevant scientific field.
- The level offered will be dependent on relevant experience and education.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, with a focus on advanced analytical techniques and procedures.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
