Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design activities, from concept development to validation, including CAD modeling, drafting, and stress/thermal analysis.
- Support component qualification through laboratory testing and field performance reviews.
- Collaborate with aero and mechanical teams to ensure cohesive and integrated design execution.
- Coordinate global engineering teams and facilitate cross-functional technical discussions.
- Manage outsourced engineering tasks and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) activities.
- Provide manufacturing and supply chain support, streamlining engineering dispositions and issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement and lead risk-based evaluations and mitigation planning.
- Prepare and present technical documentation for internal reviews, design approvals, and project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in industrial Gas Turbine design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design of Gas Turbine components.
- Strong system engineering mindset with deep understanding of product configurations and development processes.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and structural/thermal analysis methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards/regulations.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
