What You Will Achieve

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead And Support Deltav System Configuration, Troubleshooting, And Optimisation.

  • Develop and maintain Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and Functional Specifications (FS) for DeltaV and MCS components.
  • Integrate DeltaV with peripheral systems (e.g. Siemens PLCs via Modbus).
  • Support qualification activities including SAT, IQ/OQ, and GMP change management.
  • Collaborate with process specialists to design and implement new recipes and automation logic.
  • Provide frontline support during system failures and modifications.
  • Participate in FATs and commissioning activities.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in Automation Engineering
  • Proficiency in drafting software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with at least 3 years in DeltaV systems.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical automation projects (e.g. Janssen, Pfizer, Eli Lilly).
  • Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch automation
  • Hands-on experience with recipe creation, equipment module development, and network architecture documentation.
  • Familiarity with redundant server environments, and data historian applications (e.g. OSIsoft PI).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Automation Compliance projects
  • Familiarity with process controls equipment
  • Robust understanding of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations, and standards
  • Strong teamwork spirit

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Understanding of programming and proficiency in at least one language
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ability to train others effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
