Your part in our UnitingCare team 

The Resource and Community Support Officer provides expert advice and support to callers Elder Abuse prevention Unit with a focus on safety and wellbeing while advocating for the independence, dignity and choice of older people.

Additionally, in this role you will:

  • Work with stakeholders and community groups to raise awareness of issues affecting older people in relation to elder abuse and prevention. 
  • Support the Service Leader and Local Service Manager with the development and establishment of program procedures and practice in the Elder Abuse and Prevention Unit utilising specialist content knowledge.
