Pay Range
$18.50 - $27.75Ensures that all tableware, pots and pans, utensils, other kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitary. Performs routine work with little or no deviation from accepted practices. Performs related duties as assigned. *Incumbent required to work every other weekend. Job Specific Duties Cleaning Cleans and washes dishes by hand or machine, trays, silverware and pots and pans for morning and lunch meals. Food Delivery Delivers food truck to Infirmary. Sanitation Ensures the sanitation of the kitchen work area by cleaning and washing machines, mopping floor, taking garbage to the dumpster. Planning Plans daily work schedule of routine cleaning duties. Professionalism Upholds a professional working relationship at all times and adheres to department rules. Practices teamwork and adheres to Standards of Behavior. Other Duties Performs other duties as assigned by management. Physical and Behavioral Requirements - Physical requirements include frequent stooping, walking, kneeling, constant standing, grasping, repetitive motion, and reaching. - Medium physical force is required (exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects). - Visual acuity is required. - Ability to speak and hear is required to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, and staff. - Requires the successful completion of a pre-employment demands test.
