Job Description Summary

Responsible for leading all aspects of the program’s visual and digital storytelling. This role plays a critical part in shaping the team’s identity and online presence through photography, video production, graphic design, and comprehensive social media management.

Working closely with the coaching staff, student-athletes, and athletic communications, the director captures and creates content that highlights the day-to-day life, competition, and culture of the RedHawks Women’s Basketball program. This includes attending all practices, lifts, and games — both home and away — to ensure consistent and engaging coverage.

Job Description

Essential Duties

  • Designing graphics for game days, recruiting, events, and team announcements Managing all social media accounts (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) including content scheduling, engagement, and live coverage Live-tweeting games and providing in-the-moment updates and highlights Developing and executing a digital content strategy that aligns with the program’s goals and Miami Athletics’ branding Collaborating with university marketing, creative, and communications teams to maximize reach and consistency Supporting recruiting efforts through the creation of custom visuals and player-focused content Assisting with alumni and fan outreach through creative campaigns and storytelling
  • Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
  • Procedures are well established.
  • Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.

Women'S Basketball Experience

Media Experience

Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.
