What You'Ll Do:

The Inbound Planner is a key member of the regional Supply Chain Planning team, responsible for managing and monitoring inbound orders of Finish Goods to ensure timely arrival at ports and warehouses. This role ensures alignment across supply chain stakeholders and drives operational visibility and accuracy of inbound shipments from Electrolux factories and external suppliers. The Inbound Planner will play a critical role in maintaining system accuracy, minimizing delays, and supporting a seamless flow of goods for the markets under their responsibility.

In Detail, You Will:

Inventory and Order Management

  • Monitor and follow-up on inbound shipments to ports and warehouses for assigned markets, ensuring timely delivery according to commercial needs and agreed service levels.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels at regional distribution centers and hubs to ensure efficient inventory turnover and reduced holding costs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates of arrival dates and shipment status in SAP ECC and planning tools.
  • Manage purchase orders according to demand (redirecting and prioritizing POs/Containers).
  • Support inventory availability by ensuring alignment between planned and actual inbound flows.
  • Participate in initiatives focused on continuous improvement to streamline inventory, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Ensure synchronization between planned arrivals and actual receipts to support inventory accuracy and service level targets.

Distribution Strategy

  • Create and follow up on internal transfers between country warehouses and purchase orders arrivals at the port, monitoring and guaranteeing the promised to market.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Sales Operations, transportation and warehousing teams to maximize distribution efficiency.

Process Improvement and Risk Management

  • Analyze inbound data to highlight trends, identify potential bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop tools to optimize the daily activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations related to inbound processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in inbound visibility, tracking tools, and process automation.

Communication And Collaboration

  • Actively participate in weekly update calls with markets and cross-functional meetings to review open shipments, critical issues, and expected arrivals.
  • Identify and escalate risks or delays in inbound flow, and support mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local inbound team, factories, external suppliers, carriers and global logistics team when necessary to track and resolve shipment issues.
  • Generate and maintain regular reports on inbound performance (e.g., On-Time Arrival, Delayed Shipments, Lead Time Trends) for internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze low-performing areas within inbound metrics and work cross-functionally to develop and implement corrective actions, with a focus on improving service levels and delivery reliability.
  • Monitor factories shiplog and LCT system to check updates and report to respective teams and IT in case data is not updated.

Transition & Evolution

  • As the company gravitates towards centralized planning, play an integral role in the holistic planning process for all sales facets.
  • Regularly request and provide feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or inbound coordination ideally in a sales/manufacturing organization. Regional or global scope is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, especially in inbound flow and shipment tracking
  • Great personal organization skills, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines in the multicultural environment
  • Experience in utilizing (SAP ECC, SAP APO/SAP IBP, SAP BI, Power BI) and should be an Excel advance user
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across functions and cultures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment under minimal supervision
  • Curious individual who has the analytical skills needed to independently investigate issues, develop solutions, and articulate the associated business case
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Projects)
  • Language skills: both verbal and written fluency in English is a must. Additional Languages is a plus.
