All about the role:

We are looking for a D2C eCommerce Category Manager, CA ASIA who will be a strong contributor in developing and growing our Direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales. You will be part of our ASIA regional team on an exciting Ecommerce journey of consumer-led purpose driven growth.

We aim to bring to life our purpose of ’Shape living for the better’ through Ecommerce delivering great experiences pre, at and post purchase with a future fit and digital first team and sustainable business model.

The D2C Ecom team is primarily responsible for the direct-to-consumer (D2C) business through Electrolux.com in 8 countries, E-commerce marketplace partners (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, JD.com & more), and focused channels (partnerships, warehouses, contact center, staff and friends& family sales). Ecom is a pivotal growth engine delivering CA ASIA Commercial ambition.

As D2C eCommerce Category Manager, CA ASIA, you will be part of developing and applying our sales strategy in category management from an ecommerce perspective and support the local markets with optimizing categories online to drive sales. Hence, you will have a cross-market responsibility and market focus across all categories. You will support the local teams in their work with ranging and pricing to drive growth and revenue in the D2C E-Commerce channels.

What You’Ll Do:

Strategy & Category Development

  • Translate the commercial strategy for products and services into actionable D2C initiatives.
  • Develop D2C eCommerce channel’s category strategies focused on range, pricing, and availability to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Identify and share consumer and category insights to influence buyer behavior and drive category growth.
  • Partner with marketing and SEO teams to ensure visibility, relevance, and discoverability of categories online.
  • Build category-specific playbooks, tools, and guidelines to support markets in execution.

Market & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the coordination point between Central Category Management, CA D2C team, and local market D2C contacts.
  • Support local markets on pricing, assortment, and campaign planning, ensuring alignment with Central and regional priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and product line teams to maximize category impact across the consumer journey.
  • Share best practices and insights across markets to accelerate learning and performance.
  • Provide training and capability building for local markets in ranging, pricing, and category management models.

Operations & Performance Management

  • Monitor and manage category performance through regular analysis and reporting (sales, profitability, traffic, conversion, and stock availability).
  • Support daily operations including campaign execution, traffic generation, funnel optimization, and activation follow-up.
  • Build and refine category models to support channel development and long-term growth.
  • Deliver recommendations on assortment optimization, price competitiveness, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Ensure healthy SKU lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and exit of underperforming SKUs.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, eCommerce, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or commercial management, preferably in D2C eCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, assortment, promotions, and category performance levers.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Analytics/GA4, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
